As we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week we just want to say again how thankful we are for ALL of the amazing educators in Murray County Schools!

Good afternoon, Murray families. We hope everyone is safe and dry from the storms last night. Thank you for being flexible with us as the weather situation changed throughout the night and morning.
We wanted to share an updated Georgia Milestones testing schedule with you. After receiving guidance from the state, this is what our testing schedule will look like over the next week.
Friday, May 10: 5th grade Science sections 1 and 2
Friday, May 10: 7th-8th grade Math Section 2
Friday, May 10: 8th grade Algebra EOC
Monday, May 13: Ag Day 4th grade @NMHS
Monday, May 13: 8th grade Science sections 1 and 2
Tuesday, May 14: 3rd-6th grade Math section 1
Tuesday, May 14: 8th grade Social Studies sections 1 and 2
Wednesday, May 15: 3rd-6th grade Math section 2
May 16-17: Make-up days
Make-up testing may also happen on May 10 and/or afternoons on other testing days.
There are no changes to the EOC testing schedule for our high school students.

Due to new reports of impassable roads caused by fallen trees and flooding from last night's severe weather, we will be closed today instead of the previously announced 2-hour delay.
Due to severe overnight storms resulting in flooding, fallen trees, and power outages, MCS will operate on a 2-hour delay today. Buses will run 2 hours later than regular time. We will also postpone Georgia Milestones testing for Thursday, May 9. We will resume testing on Friday. Be safe this morning!
