Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE)

High School CTAE (Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) is a program that helps students explore different career pathways and gain practical skills for the future in a family-friendly way. It offers a variety of exciting and hands-on courses that prepare students for both college and the workforce.

In CTAE, students have the opportunity to learn about different industries such as healthcare, technology, business, agriculture, and more. They can choose from a range of courses that align with their interests and goals. For example, they might learn how to design and build websites, care for animals, create and manage a small business, or even explore the world of culinary arts.

The program emphasizes the importance of both academic knowledge and practical skills. Students engage in real-world projects and gain experience through internships, job shadowing, and cooperative education programs. This way, they can apply what they learn in the classroom to real-life situations, preparing them for success in their chosen careers.

CTAE also helps students develop essential life skills, such as problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. These skills are valuable not only for future careers but also for personal growth and success in various aspects of life.

By participating in CTAE, students can discover their passions and talents, explore different career options, and make informed decisions about their future. Whether they plan to continue their education in college or enter the workforce directly after high school, CTAE equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals.
