Chatsworth Elementary School has been selected by Helping Hands Ending Hunger to receive its first annual Hands in Action Award. Chatsworth is one of only three schools chosen from more than 160 Helping Hands Ending Hunger school chapters for its outstanding work rescuing food and helping get it into the hands of students and families who need it. Mrs. Audre Allen, Ms. Rachel Brindle, and the entire Chatsworth Elementary staff were recognized for their dedication to supporting the program and serving their school community.

Chatsworth Elementary is also home to one of four food pantries supported by Helping Hands Ending Hunger across Murray County Schools. These pantries provide families with food staples and refrigerated items through the support of school staff, community partners, and generous donations. Murray County Schools congratulates Chatsworth Elementary on this well-deserved recognition and thanks Helping Hands Ending Hunger for its continued partnership and support of families throughout the district.
