Murray County Schools recently celebrated the completion of the district’s first YES Workforce Academy cohort. Over the past five months, students from Murray County High School and North Murray High School participated in training focused on workplace readiness, professional skills, OSHA certification, and career preparation.
The district is proud to share that every student who completed the program and participated in the interview process received employment offers from local companies. Murray County Schools extends its appreciation to Georgia Power, the Murray County Chamber of Commerce, Mohawk, Shaw, Dalton Utilities, Qcells, and all community partners who helped make the program a success.
