The STAR Program recognizes Georgia’s highest-achieving high school seniors based on SAT scores and honors the teachers who played a pivotal role in their academic success.
Congratulations to senior Owen Lam, Murray County High School’s STAR Student and MCS District STAR Student, who achieved an impressive 1520 SAT score. Owen will attend Georgia Tech, where he plans to major in Computer Science.
Owen selected Mr. Keith Rollins as his STAR Teacher in recognition of his impact on Owen during his time at MCHS. Mr. Rollins teaches Dual Enrollment English and is the Theatre Director.
