We are excited to invite all of our families and community veterans to our Veteran's Day Celebration and Title I Family Night on November 9th from 4:00-5:30 pm.
We will begin the celebration with 1st-grade students singing and the recognition of our community veterans in the cafeteria, then open classrooms for CES families to view and ask questions about student report cards, iready reports, and curriculum.

We love our teachers and staff at CES! Mrs. Green is a wonderful teacher who teaches our first grade Chiefs. She has the best laugh and works hard to make sure first grade Chiefs are successful!


Mrs. Brown is our fabulous ELA teacher for our 5th grade Chiefs at CES! She does so much for the students and staff. She is always willing to lend a helping hand. We are so blessed to have her as a part of our Chief family.


We love our teachers and staff at CES! Mrs. Moreland is new to our Chief family and teaches math to our 6th grade Chiefs. She works hard to make sure each of her students understand and master the 6th grade math concepts. She is a great addition to our tribe!


Support our school and your child's love of reading by shopping at our CES Book Fair! It will start next week from Monday, Oct. 23rd to Friday, Oct. 27th. Not only can you send money with your child each morning but also parents are welcomed to visit us in the library to make debit or credit card purchases. Personal checks cannot be accepted. 5th Grade Excel completed the Candy Corn Challenge today to work on their resilience and creative designs. These skills will help us prepare for First Lego League.

Nurse Amanda is our unsung hero at CES. She has such a big heart and shows up every day to keep all of our Chiefs safe and healthy. We are so lucky to have her at our school!


Mrs. Wooten is the science and social studies teacher for our 4th grade Chiefs. Students get to do experiments and learn real world skills (plus work on reading) in her class. She helps our students reach for the stars!
