Jerrie's Hotlist This is a links page with wonderful links to all types of resources for integrating technology into curriculum!

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators A great comprehensive site that covers all grade levels and subject areas.

Education World This site also has lots of great links – be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the first page – it does have vocational as well as all subject areas and grade levels.

About School Great resources for all grades – is well organized!

The Busy Teacher Easy to read, well organized links for all grade levels, but seems to be a little more geared for the upper levels. 

Search Beat Teaching & Resource center – you have to scroll way down the page, then there are links for each level – Elementary, Middle & High School.

Teach-Nology This site has all the links at the top, keep browsing around, it has lesson plans, rubrics, games, and lots of useful links!

BioPoint This "Resources" section of this page has a great amount of information about web quests, online projects, and a Technology Link Library. Thanks to Suzanne Mooney for sharing this site at InTech!!!

Teachers First This page has links to web resources and lesson plans for Elementary, Middle and High School level.  It also clearly identifies the specific grade level for each link.

Global Access to Educational Sources This site is for Middle School level and up - it has links organized by subject area to resources.  Be sure to click on "Teacher Resources" to find lesson plans.

PBS TeacherSource It has links to lots of lesson plans - related and NOT related to the programs on PBS.

High School Hub This easy to navigate and use site has links by subject areas and an extensive set of reference collection links. (No Tech/Career-Vocational on this one, though!)

Resource Sites

Georgia Learning Connections Where you can find the QCCs for the classes you teach as well as some lesson plans and other great ideas!

Presenting Solutions - This is also a great PowerPoint (or presentations in general) resources site. It shares a lot of tips and techniques for creating and giving presentations.

Indezine.com - I'm not sure what the name means, but I stumbed across the site one day and it has lots a great information about using PowerPoint and giving presentations in general.

Homework Spot - This nice page has links to sections for each grade level - Elementary, Middle & High School - within these there are subject links.

Family Education Network - This is a great resource site for teachers, students and parents.

Google My favorite search engine!!!  It's fast and seems to always find exactly what I'm looking for!  PS - Foreign Language Teachers - go to the language tools link and scroll down to see the opening page in lots of other languages!

Rubistar A great site for creating rubrics!

BrainPop This site has mini cartoon movies covering a variety of topics - students love it!

How Stuff Works - this great site has everything from computers to toilets to engines and more. Great articles explaining how things work!

Peachstar Streaming Video You've have to get a password from the Media Center Specialist, but it is well worth the trouble!  There are thousands of videos in all subject areas!  Think "BrainPop", but not a cartoon!  It's great!

PuzzleMaker This site will allow you to make your  puzzles, etc - using your vocabulary.  All grade levels could use!

Personality Tests Online This page has links to several personality tests, entrepreneur tests, IQ tests.  I found it useful when doing career research.

Quia This is probably the site I used most my last year of teaching High School!  It will allow you to easily create a class page and create quizzes and vocabulary games for students.  You can also use games created by other teachers! Updated - this site is no longer free!!!! You can still use any quiz, test or game you previously created, but you cannot create more without paying.....Sorry!!!

Encarta Online The online encyclopedia.

NetSquirrel This is the site of Patrick Crispen - he is an Internet specialist - and has several Powerpoint presentations you can download and use and lots of useful information.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook This site is maintained by the US Department of Labor.  It has a lot of career and job related information and goes will with the use of GCIS!

Search Engine Watch This site explains how to use search engines more effectively and has lists of various types of search engines and directories.

Tammy's Technology Tips This site created by an Instructional Technology Specialist in Kansas has a lot of great information about technology integration.

The Best of History - this looks like a great social studies resource page for grades 9-12!

High School Social Studies Mini Lessons This Academy Curricular Exchange page has many social studies lessons - not really technology integrated, necessary, but they seem to use grouping and cooperative learning often.

Math and Science Gateway This provides links to pages with other links for several sub topics. For 9-12th grades only!

Federal Resources for Educational Excellence This nice site has links on the left side for a variety of subject areas. Then, each subject has a page with many links to great resource pages.

Natural History Education - Science Links This site has lots of science links for Middle Grades and High School.

Health Teacher This site has health and PE lessons for all grade levels and covering a variety of topics.

Math Forum This is a math site maintained by Drexel University in Pennsylvania. It has a teacher area with links and resources broken down by grade level.

Math Goodies This Middle to High School level page has lesson plans, printable worksheets, message boards, puzzles and more.

Open Directory Language Arts This page has links to Language Arts, English, and ESOL lesson plans and resources.

Vocational Information Center This page has links to specific program areas and then each link has many more links!

Columbia Education Center Lesson Plans This page has links to text lesson plans for all grade levels in the subject areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Miscellaneous.  It's not flashy but seems to have some good basic plans - not necessarily technology based lessons - just general lessons.

University of Sydney Science Links This was shared with me by an InTech participant - Thanks, Betsy!!! It has many great science links for a variety of age levels.
